The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Sam Ewing, rider of Tiktok Casey, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Hugh Paul Finegan, trainer of Mystery Decision, in relation to his charge who was reluctant to go to post and was subsequently withdrawn. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that the behaviour of his charge was completely out of character. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards informed the trainer that a repeat performance may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

B. Hayes, rider of Leader Allen (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hampered by the loose horse.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the dip rounding the bend involving Matt Connor, ridden by Josh Williamson, and Fiveonefive, ridden by J.W. Kennedy and Wholelotofbusniess, ridden by G.B Noonan, where it appeared Matt Connor clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Josh Williamson stated that his mount clipped a heel and had to take back. G.B Noonan stated that he was unaware of the incident. J.W. Kennedy stated that his mount shifted in right and he did all he could to prevent an incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.W. Kennedy was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Neil Mulholland, trainer of Double Powerful in relation to a request to substitute intended rider R P McLernon with Mr A P Ryan. Neil Mulholland stated that his intended rider experienced transport difficulties this morning and wished to use Mr A P Ryan as he was available and had previously ridden for the yard. Having considered the request, the Raceday Stewards allowed the substitution of rider as it complied with Regulation 3.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Comfort Zone, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Ambitious Fellow, ridden by Sam Ewing, Ifiwerearichman, ridden by E. Staples, and Ad Caelum, ridden by J.J. Slevin where it appeared Ad Caelum got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.J. Slevin stated that he was trying to make up room that he lost at the start and it got a bit tight. E Staples stated that he received slight pressure from his outside. Sam Ewing stated that he went slightly right after the start. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from H.Rogers, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Grann's Boy, placed first, as compared with its recent form. H Rogers stated that he was disappointed with his charge on his last run and could not account for the below par run. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Bayswater Bloom, ridden by Miss T. Quail, Withmylittleeye, ridden by Mr B.T. Stone, and No Pass Port, ridden by Ms K.M. Ryan where it appeared No Pass Port clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Ms K.M. Ryan stated that she got tight for room and clipped a heel. Mr B. T. Stone stated that he got pressure from his outside. Miss T. Quail stated that she felt she held her line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Miss T. Quail was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly , and having considered her clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays. .

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend into the dip involving Eleen Alana, ridden by Ms N.M. Bradley, Bluebell Breeze, ridden by Mr S. Cotter, and No Pass Port, ridden by Ms K.M. Ryan where it appeared it got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Ms N.M Bradley stated that she got tight for room. Mr S Cotter stated that he received pressure from his right. Ms K.M. Ryan stated that she held her line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Ms K.M. Ryan, was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly and having considered her clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays. .

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bottom bend involving Whizz Bizz, ridden by Miss A.L. Fitzgibbon, Fortunate Miss, ridden by Mr J. Dunne, Sarahs Lawn, ridden by Mr D.L. Queally, and She Was The One, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan where it appeared it became tight. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Miss A.L Fitzgibbon stated that her mount went wrong before she got tight for room. Mr D.L Queally stated that he held his line. Mr J Dunne stated that he felt pressure from his left. Mr H C Swan stated that his mount became unbalanced and jinked outwards. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action. Mr A. Ring replaced Mr P Deegan at this enquiry.

Miss J. Townend, rider of Glens Sonata, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount pulled up injured.

Mr B.T. Stone, rider of Withmylittleeye, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room on the first bend.

W.J. Lee, rider of San Aer, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran slightly short of room late on. Having reviewed the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Andrew Slattery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Faoladh, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Andrew Slattery stated that a drop in trip and better ground brought about the improvement. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fratas, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

W.J. Lee, rider of Superficial (FR), trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

L.F. Roche, rider of Thyer (GB), trained by Maurice Andrew Ahern, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced too keen.
